Perfect in every way; it’s a little sweet, a little tangy and most importantly these days, quick to whip together. This combination served with crackers has been a go-to for our family for years and after initially buying it prepackaged, in an attempt to explore a little more depth in flavor and texture, I’ve discovered the best combination of ingredients for this creamy whipped goat cheese alongside my favorite fall fig jam.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz goat cheese, room temperature
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 clove garlic
- 2-3 sprigs of rosemary, roughly chopped
- Zest of 1 lemon
Add all of the above ingredients into a food processor and blend for about 1 minute.
Once well blended, transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with roughly chopped hazelnuts. Serve with your favorite fig jam and crackers.
